ASIA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Support customers on customer requirements
    - Provide customer line and field FA report to Asia customers
    - Making sure factory data package is completed and sent to WDLF in time
• Work towards achieving customer line and field dppm goals
    - Work with FAEs or customers to get regular feedback or report on customer line and field dppm
• Follow-up and ensure timely closure of all customer complaint
    - Perform investigation on the cause of customer complaint
• Coordinate, prepare and to ensure smooth customer visits and audits.
    - Making sure customer visit/audit agenda and expectation are well understood and communicated to factory
    - Prepare presentation material as per customer visit/audit agenda
• Stop order management
    - Responsible for any activity coordination within Asia (e.g drive sorting, screening, field FW upgrade, etc)
• Customer Return (only applicable to WDM and CSE assign to in-charge of customer return)
    - Follow up with FAEs on customer return for FA
    - Making sure all customer returns have been initialized in FACTS by FAEs

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering / Physics

ASIA ADVANCE READ CHANNEL FA ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

STAFF ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Resolve technical issues and problems related to Read Channel and Hard Disk Drive
• Perform Read Channel optimization to improve quality and yield
• Firmware coding to improve channel optimization
• Communicate with US counterpart to resolve factory issues

Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with CGPA of 2.8 and above
• Minimum 2 year working experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge in programming language preferably C Language
• Strong analytical and good communication skills

ENGINEER II / ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• To work with product engineering and FQA engineering and perform failure analysis for root cause and to recommend corrective action for yield/ quality improvement.
• To modify channel firmware codes and to add new features and then test out the changes on drive to confirm the fix is done properly.
• To characterize defect on drive and recommend proper defect scan settings.
• Format generation and timing check for new/ refresh programs.

Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Degree in Science (Physics Science)
• Minimum 1 year working experience in a high volume manufacturing environment

 

ASIA BUSN OPS – PROD CONTROL

SECTION HEAD
Responsibilities:

•Manage the Production Control Section of the Material Department to ensure committed MPS are met through proper supervision of the planning functions and co-ordination of the relevant activities with Materials planning/ buyers, engineering & other support departments
•Ensure commonality/standardization among same process/system within related manufacturing sites

Requirements:

•Diploma with 8 years working experience with at least 5 years relevant experience or. in Production Control or Planning.
•Degree holder of any discipline with 3 years relevant experience. (Preferable majoring in statistic and mathematic)

ASIA ENG HSA & MEDIA

SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for technological transfer of Headstack and Media from US R&D facility and assist in the development of new products
• To perform system to component level in depth Failure Analysis on reject parts and recommends technical solutions
• Provide technical direction and support in resolving yield and reliability issues related to Headstack / Media
• Liaise with suppliers on failure analysis activities, review reports and developing new test to address relevant sources of failures

Requirements:
• Master / Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 4 years working experience as Product Engineering Management in high-tech manufacturing environment
• Must be analytical, technically inclined and enjoy technical project management type of job function

ASIA ENG MECHANICAL

ENGINEER I
Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for issues pertaining to mechanical components causing drive performance or assembly issues.
• Responsible for overall change management through drawing changes, generation of qualification plans and Engineering Change Orders.
• Work with suppliers and factory Supplier Quality Engineers on issue pertaining to mechanical dimensions.

Requirements:
• Degree is Mechanical Engineering or Science (Physics)
• Minimum 1year working experience in high volume manufacturing
• Good knowledge on manufacturing of mechanical components such metal stamping, plastic injection molding, plating, forging, etc.
• Knowledge in disk drive will be an advantage
• Excellent Solidworks skills.
• Capable of performing mechanical stack up tolerance analysis
• Hands on experience of managing changes via ECOs and its implementation

 

ASIA ENG NPI – DRIVE

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER /MANAGER
Responsibilities:
• To coordinate planning & track progress of key operations projects.
• Liaise with Operations Management team to plan and direct key operations projects through the Factory Master Plan (FMP) forum.
• Monitors progress of projects, confers with project engineers and/or managers.
• Establish scope and deliverables of projects.
• Publish project plans, timelines, progress reports and maintain associated website.
• Organize relevant project reviews through to project completion.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Admin is preferred.
• 5 or more years experience in Disk Drive / electronics manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• 3 or more years experience in cross-functional project management.

STAFF ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of WDM NPI engineer or technicians
• Introduction of new products and head/media combinations to WDM
• Control of information on product configurations from sources such as head/media matrix, CCC chart and various engineering documents (ECO, EDO, etc.)
• Assume supervisory role for engineers and technicians
• Support & coordinate all factory preparations for new product transfers
• Ensure that WDM NPI maintains, verifies, and communicates any changes made to Customer Configuration Charts (CCC), Head/Media matrices, PCS software, and BOMs.
• Ensure that ECO, EDO, Stop-orders and other relevant evaluation builds are disposition properly

Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 or more years experience in Disk Drive / electronics industry

SENIOR ENGINEER


Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all factory efforts to prepare for new product transfers.  This involves reviewing all new material cum process requirements, interfacing with other WD sites to solicit required support and training, and working out a systematic factory implementation plan.
• Based on material requirement, plan and coordinate all new head/media introduction to the factory.  This involves managing product evaluations if required, updating Head/Media Matrices, DCM codes, etc.
• Maintain a working knowledge of on-going product development (e.g. Release of new firmware, material changes, and customer configurations) through corporate engineering documents (ECO, EDO, Stop Orders, etc.)
• Maintain product configuration charts (CCC chart, H/M matrix), verify accuracy of new product Startup preparation and new bill of materials (BOM) for document control releases, and verify that PCS is constantly updated to ensure proper drive configuration control.
• Support new PCBA builds as and when necessary
• Maintain the records of new product transfers (Design or Verification Build) and engineering Evaluations (EEN)
• Coordinate special engineering evaluations for new materials, processes, etc. as and when required.
• Liaise with WDC and Document Control for ECO and or EDO requests.

Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years experience in Disk Drive / electronics industry.

 

ASIA ENG PROCESS – CLEANROOM

ENGINEER I
Responsibilities:
• Provide Contamination / ESD / Scrap control support and maintain troubleshooting used for manufacturing activities.
• Participate and provide Contamination / ESD / Scrap control support on PMT, module conversion and new module set-up.
• Provide technical training on the specific technical area to technicians and manufacturing personnel and acts.
• Maintain and update a working knowledge on maintenance for new Contamination / ESD / Scrap control equipment.
• To adequately train and control the action of the employee as to minimize accidents and incident causing injury and damaged.

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering) or Physics / Chemistry Science Degree (selected cases only)
• Exposure to SPC, TPM, CPI, and MTM will be an added advantage.

 

ASIA ENG PRODUCT III

ENGINEER I
Responsibilities:
• Involve in yield improvement activities to improve test yield.
• Perform failure analysis to determine failure mechanism and pursue appropriate corrective actions
• Verify and implement production test and debug software.
• Develop and maintain debug software.
• Involve in new product transfer and provide engineering support leading to solutions, during F, D, V, LVM, and HVM build phases; which includes travel fro selected product transfer participants.
• Recommend test methodology and test process.
• Disposition of non-conformance materials.
• Resolve quality and yield issues by performing failure analysis to determine root cause and initiate corrective actions.

ASIA ENG TEST DEV

 ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEERS
Responsibilities:
• Develop and sustain Reliability Test process software functions in Single Plug Tester (SPT) / Xcalibre (Xcal) platforms

Requirements: 
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering
• Knowledge and analytical skill in C / C++ programming language is a must
• Any knowledge of the following is a plus: C#, Assembly Language (ARM processor)
• Preferred with 2 years or more experience in Software / Firmware development / sustaining
• Knowledge / experience in Hard Disk Drive or its major components test process is an added advantage

ASIA ENG TOOLING DEV

SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Code and test the Clean Room Process software functions in support of the Clean Room Software environment.
• Adhere to formally developed Firmware / Software Development Procedures being practiced by all members of Western Digital firmware and software developers.
• Design and develop new software for the following
   i) New product transfer
   ii) New assembly tool or assembly line.
• Generate and maintain appropriate technical documentation:
   i) Software Release notices.
   ii) Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
   iii) Specifications.
   iv) Others as may be assigned.
• Validate and test software releases

ASIA MATERIAL OPS / INV MGT

MANAGER
Responsibilities:

• To manage Inventory / EOL management activities and assist Department Head to set up, maintain and manage an efficient system for Inventory Control.
• To manage ASIA plants’ inventory, compare it against the plants’ objective and goal and advise impact and actions.
• To analyze products’ end-of-life, develop and plan strategy to minimize exposure.
• To Lead the Business Process in Asia Factory Material Operations

Requirements:

• Degree or Masters in IT or Business Admin or relates disciplines
• 4-5 yrs experience in Materials Management / Purchasing and Business Process Improvements
• MRP / ERP system handling and implementation experience is highly preferred

 

SENIOR BUYER - OPS & TECH
Responsibilities:

• To be the business process lead of each Commodity team, managing the overall business process requirements based on the various materials in each commodity.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in IT /  Business Admin / Materials Management or related discipline
• 4-5 years in Materials management/Purchasing
• Business Process Improvements , Handling of MRP/ERP system and implementations experience

 

SENIOR PLANNER - OPS & TECH
Responsibilities:
• Develop standardized Material Availability analysis and delta reports for ease of visibility, (Detail and executive summary).
• Co-ordinate Material Commit process, working with Buyers in consolidating Materials availability To request, and PC in supporting the build commit
• Hi-light and assist in problem solving material shortages and recommending alternative Scenario’s
• Responsible for running “What-if” off cycle request, ensuring 100% compliance to request in < 8hr CT

Requirements:

• Degree holder of any discipline with 5 years experience in Material function. • Supervisory experience preferred. • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.

 

ASIA MECHNICAL ENGINEERING

 STAFF ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Provide in-depth failure analysis for in-process rejects submitted by Product Engineer
• Provide components expertise to other support group like Reliability Engineer in cases of reliability monitor failures or PMT / FEN issues.
• Maintain specific lab facilities for components verification and analysis.
• Responsible for component health by using scrap indicators and utilizing the MRB procedure to control scrap cost.
• Maintain and update a working knowledge on component technology, manufacturing methods and parts application.

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering) or Physics / Chemistry
Science Degree (selected cases only)
• Exposure to SPC, TPM, CPI, and MTM will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 - 4 years working experience in manufacturing, automation or software development.

 

ASIA PURCHASING

ASSOCIATE BUYER - HSA & MEDIA
Responsibilities:

• To provide clerical support to  Senior Manager, Manager,  Section Head, Senior Buyer, Buyer and department. • Assist Senior Buyer and Buyer to generate POs and Dispatch the POs. • Assist Senior Buyer and Buyer in handling purchase and follow-up issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma in (or equivalent to) MIPMM or STPM with 1 - 2 years relevant working experience. • Must be computer literate, preferable in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Window, • Harvard Graphic and others. • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Good communication and interpersonal skills

MANAGER – MRO
Responsibilities:

• To set-up, maintain and manage on efficient system for Purchasing Department Materials planning & procurement. • To support quarterly cost reduction and to meet projected PPV (Part Price Variance). • To support good inventory control and ensure proper EOL (End-Of-Life) management • To provide strategy & guidance to Tactical Commodity Manager. • To report and control the department‘s KPI (Key Performance Indicator).

Requirements:

• 5 Years in Tactical Procurement - Strategic planning would be an advantage. • Managing inter-company procurement and materials management processes. • Supply Chain Management - Demand, Supply and Materials availability. • Procurement policy and Procedure, MRP experiences.

 

BUYER II - ELECTRONIC
Responsibilities:
• Involved in all activities pertaining to materials acquisition to support production.
• To maintain, improve & responsible for the planning and purchasing of materials and services to meet WDM Manufacturing and operations requirement at an optimum inventory level.
• To source, identify and negotiate with appropriate vendors to obtain the best quality, price, delivery and services

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification or min. Diploma in ( or equivalent to ) MIPMM with 3 years relevant working experience • Strong in communication and negotiation skills. • Knowledge of MRP II and other computer software.

 

SENIOR BUYER / BUYER - HSA & MEDIA
Responsibilities:
•  To supervise purchasing activities and assist Department Senior Manager and Manager to set up, maintain and manage an efficient system for Purchasing Department.
• Manage supplier’s strategy planning to achieve the company’s objectives of materials quality, cost, delivery and responsive services / support.
•  Provide support on solving materials’ problem & issues.
•  Ensure proper management of Senior Buyers and Buyers.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 - 6 years related purchasing working experience on high volume, preferable OEM manufacturing environment.
• Strong in communication & negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of MRP II and other computer software.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

 

BUYER
Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the planning and purchasing of materials to meet Western Digital Manufacturing and operations requirement at an optimum inventory level

Requirements:
• Degree in any discipline (preferably in Engineering) with minimum 1 year related working experience in direct Material procurement
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill
• Must be PC literate in spreadsheet and knowledge in production control / planning

 

MANAGER - NON HGA
Responsibilities:
• Assist Department Head to set-up, maintain and manage an efficient system for Purchasing Department.
• Supervise and lead a team of section Head, Senior Buyers and Buyers towards achieving departments’ goals & objectives.
• Manage suppliers to ensure fair dealing to achieve company’s objectives on quality, cost, delivery, responsive service and support
• To provide strategy and guidance on indirect/direct supplier’s management to support MRO/ direct purchasing and its activities.

Requirements:
• Degree holder with minimum 6 - 8 years of related experience, minimum 2 - 3 years in a Disk Drive environment and / or related senior managerial position.

 

ASIA SPW ENGINEERING

STAFF ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEER I
Responsibilities:
• Design, program, analyze, and debug different generation of seed and fill tester.
• Support new product introduced to factory and improves tester yield, test time, quality and performance.
• Work closely with product, quality, hardware and customer to help identify code issue and develop solution.
• Execute experiments and prepare data for analysis.

Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Computer Eng or related field.

ASIA TRAFFIC & WAREHOUSE

OFFICER / EXECUTIVE
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Asia JIT Hub replenishment process in relating to daily / weekly Consignment and Pull activities.
• This job required wide exposure both internal and external, not only with factory Production level, WDT Account Management, World Wide sales offices, but also with JIT Hub Service provider.
• Responsible to maintain Good Inventory Control Management on all JIT Hubs to ensure a Continuous supply of products to our OEM customer on a timely basis.
• Responsible for On Time Invoicing for all Pull Signals activated by each of the JIT Hub.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree with a minimum of 3 years related working experience in a high volume and continuous changing manufacturing environment

 

ASIA ENG ASSEMBLY TOOL S/W DEV

MANAGER
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the software development activities of the software running on the CleanRoom Assembly tools.
• Be the liaison to the Process Engineering, Tooling Development Engineering, and Tooling Maintenance departments to improve performance of assembly tools.
• Adhere to formally developed Firmware/Software Development Procedures being  practiced by all members of Western Digital firmware and software developers.
• Adhere to corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and  guidelines for conducting business in accordance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering/Mechatronics or equivalent
• 7 years working experience in related automation field, of which 2 years at supervising/managerial position.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

STAFF ENGINEER / SECTION HEAD - DEVELOPMENT
Responsibilities:

• Responsible to support IT activities in the Global operations and will be stationed in Malaysia
• Responsible for the system requirements gathering, analyst, design, implementation and support of the company's business application system
• Manage a team of highly competent analyst in support and implementation of Oracle ERP Application on Oracle Financial, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay modules
• Support the information requirements of the company’s business functions and its related activities through the use of application software.
• Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and provide the IT solutions to improve on productivity and quality.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Knowledge in PL/SQL. is required.
• Minimum of 6 years working experience in Oracle ERP Application
• Experience on Oracle Developer Tools will be added advantage.

SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST / SYSTEM ANALYST / ANALYST PROGRAMMER - DEVELOPMENT
Responsibilities:

• The appointee will support IT activities in the Global/Asia operations and will be stationed in Malaysia
• You will be expected to support projects in system analysis, design, development and implementation, as well as providing technical support to assist the operations team in sustaining the existing applications
• You will also troubleshoot system, database or application problems and constantly work towards improving existing systems so as to improve efficiency in data collection and effectiveness in system controls
• You are expected to assist in project implementation; develop user manuals; evaluate new technology and make relevant users requirement documents; as well as translate business needs into system dimensions and provide relevant solutions

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in Web Development, System Design and Architecture
• Knowledge in MS SQL2000 and/or ORACLE 8i on scripting and stored procedures
• Web Programming skills using ASP/ASP.Net, VB/VB.Net, web services and com+ objects and good knowledge in OO programming
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and/or have business knowledge in Engineering/HRMS/Payroll System would an added advantage

MANAGER / PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation and installation of the company’s Engineering and manufacturing system
• Support the information requirements of the company’s manufacturing and engineering functions and its related activities through the use of application software.
• Conduct training for end users in the above mentioned application packages whenever required.
• Responsible for managing a team to develop and support of in-house application system

Requirements:

• Bachelor Science major in Computer Science or Information Technology min 7 years relevant experience.
• Good programming skills (in one or more of the following: Visual Basic, Developer 2000,C/C++ WEB-based programming language, .NET,PL/SQL,Oracle Programming or MS SQL Server Programming)

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will support IT activities in the Asia operations and will be stationed in Malaysia
• Responsible for the system requirements gathering, analyst, design, development, implementation and support of the company's Supply Chain Management application system.
• Support the information requirements of the company's Supply Chain Management functions and its related activities through the use of application software.
• Troubleshoot ASCM system or application problems and constantly work towards improving existing systems to improve efficiency in data collection and effectiveness in system controls
• Helping to identify strategic areas for improvement of business processes if need
• Monitor the company’s Supply Chain Management system performance and growth.
• Working with others development team for system integration.

Responsibilities:

• To administer and support company Messaging System, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Networking and other Microsoft products.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repair, maintenance and calibration of production equipment in his area of job scope.
• Assist the engineer in leading and guiding a team of technicians.
• Assist the engineer in equipment transfers setup and implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Assist engineer in optimizing equipment performance through the implementation of an efficient preventive and line maintenance program.
• Assist engineers in new product transfer program and setup equipment to meet product qual requirements.
• Organize courses to train and upgrade the technical knowledge of technicians.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably with experience in handling automated test system

STAFF ENGINEER

• Problem solving and trouble shooting for equipment breakdown or malfunctioning in air- conditioning Installation

ENGINEERING TOOLING MAINTENANCE

STAFF ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for all tooling elated issues by maintaining tooling knowledge, manufacturing trouble shooting and issuance of instructions to production on manufacturing.
• To be main technical resource for new product transfer, EOL control and any changes made to the method of manufacturing of the factory’s product.
• To manage all tooling engineering resources at his disposal by providing supervision and job guidance and maintaining discipline in his organization.
• Provide troubleshooting service for daily tooling issues in containment actions and subsequent long term solutions.
• Maintain a working knowledge or process flows, fixtures piece part configuration and any other assigned technical area.
• Responsible for the operations using key indices like process yields, Cpk’s, PPM’s and to react to any abnormalities displayed by those indices.

FIRMWARE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

STAFF ENGINEER/ENGINEER
Responsibilities
  • Design, program, analyze, debug, and modify real-time embedded firmware code applications to   
      support new program introduction and enhance factory Cost, Yield, Quality and performance
  • Work very closely with product, quality, reliability, customer and firmware verification FIT teams
      to help identify drive firmware issues and develop solutions
  • Work with respective functional teams (e.g. servo, channel, PCBA, Mechanical, IC,
      interface, test, FIT) to bring up new hardware and software with the firmware features

 Requirements:

• To recommend opportunity/solution to contain or reduce the drive fallouts
• Continue to strive for FQA dppm and Reliability failure rate improvement.
• Communicate with US counterpart to resolve factory issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master of Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Bachelor or Master of Science (e.g. Physics / Material Science) or equivalent with 5 years working experience in related field

QC-QMS/CALIBRATION

ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

• Manage calibration staffs and all equipment users to clearly understand and effectively calibrate equipment following WDM calibration system in timely manner without non-compliant.
• To assure the high accuracy of equipments to be used for production and other concerns.
• To study and implement new equipment calibration for cost saving, cycle time reduction and increase calibration lab capability.
• Able to fully utilize all resources including manpower to achieve departmental objectives with minimum cost
• To ensure zero calibration overdue.
• To supervise in-house calibration for HAS testers, air leak tester and etc
• To Maintain/Develop CALPM Database system and ensure effective implementation
• To coordinate weekly calibration audit activities at all areas to ensure compliance.
• To establish and coordinate cal activities with cal committee
• To maintain calibration records/reports

Requirements:

• Automation / STW (Servo Track Writer) software functions and participate in design, code and test review process

• Responsible to generate / maintain appropriate technical documentation and provide training to users

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering
• Knowledge and analytical skill in C/C++ programming language is a must
• Any knowledge of the following is a plus: C#, Assembly Language or ARM processor

• Responsible for assuring conforming supply to WDM production lines and scrapping on non-conforming materials returned from Production

• Liaise with Supplier , Material, Product and Production Team on materials quality issues

Responsibilities:
• Learn and understand a variety of complex technical specifications and apply that knowledge to using and
enhancing our test suite and test processes
• Interface with the program teams to communicate schedules, assess readiness and assist in making risk assessments
• Debug test failures with advanced drive features using sophisticated program similar to C test programs, OEM
tests, and a variety of other test programs under various Operating Systems

Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferably with 1 year relevant working experience

SENIOR OFFICER
Responsibilities:

• Alternate person to update standard cost in Oracle on a daily basis;
• Alternate person to approve T111 (stock removal), T112 (stock replenishment), part conversions, attrition claims, SAN (scrap authorization notes) on a daily basis;
• Checking of backflush report to counter check that the BOM (Bill of Material) have been properly set up;
• R&D expenses control (material portion) liaison with WDSJ Finance personnel and the local NPI team;
• Production variance (ECO - engineering change order) monitoring and tracking on a weekly and monthly basis in Oracle;

• Matching of receipts travelers and delivery orders (and packing list) from warehouse against invoices from vendors; ensure that quantity and price are as per the purchase order
• Vouching of matched invoices into the Oracle System
• Reconciliation of AP balances with vendor’s statement of account; investigate and resolve discrepancies on timely basis.
• Resolve “long” outstanding un-invoiced receipts on a timely basis.

ENGINEER - ASIA QA RELIABILITY

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain and conduct reliability test on all storage products to ensure consistent quality & reliability of drives produced and ensure compliance to the specification of all storage product. Continuously improve product performance by analyzing trend and test data.
• Involve in Critical Parameters Data Crunching, plotting & Virtual Failures Identification.
• Coordinate and perform BEST (Basic Environmental Stress Test) & SMAT (Steady-State Monitoring Audit Test).
• Coordinate failure analysis and verify corrective actions for reliability failures.
• Lead Crisis Team and facilitate FA and CA efforts for Reliability Issues.
• Support Engineering / IQA/ SQA in evaluating and qualifying new components, design or process.

• Coordinate Continuous Process Improvement team implementation activities based upon QC audit results and outgoing customer dppm.
• Documentation of QC procedures / processes.
• Implement Audit conformance of product.
• Coordinate operator certification scheme.

• Execution of Maintenance and Calibration Plan of QC tools.

• Provide technical direction, FA and support in resolving yield and reliability issues related to Headstack / Media
